Ingredients :
- Kodo Millet Flour 1/2 Cup
- Traditional Wheat Flour 1 Cup
- Boiled Potatoes 1 Cup
- Boiled Peas
- Onions
- Ginger, Chillies, Turmeric Powder, Garam Masala Powder and Curry Leaves
Recipe :
- In a bowl, take Kodo millet flour and Wheat flour. Make a dough using water. Make small balls out of dough and roll out each ball into a thin roti using a rolling pin. Cut the roti into two equal parts. Keep it aside.
- In another bowl, mash the boiled potatoes. Add the ginger, chopped onions, green chillies, and curry leaves. Add seasoning as per your taste to make the stuffing spicy.
- Add boiled peas and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly.
- To make the Samosas, take the half of roti and put 2 spoon full of the stuffing. Close it with another half of roti. (Amount of stuffing depends on the size of roti)
- Apply a little bit of water along the straight length of the roti and make it into a triangular shape. Seal the edges.
- Shallow fry in a pan with little cold pressed oil. Toast it back and forth till Samosa become golden.
- Serve hot with Jaggery Tamarind Sauce.
